WorkBuddy

WorkBuddy is Tencent's AI agent for knowledge work: it drafts documents and slides, analyses data, builds small apps, and connects to WeCom, Tencent Docs, mail and meetings. Adding Imagifly lets it produce images and video as part of a deck, a report or a campaign.

Add the server

Create the API key in the API console.

Open Settings → MCP → Add MCP Server in WorkBuddy.

Enter the URL and an authorization header, then save and enable the server.

Use these values:

Config file

If your version of WorkBuddy asks you to edit a config file, the MCP servers live in:

~/.workbuddy/mcp.json (user-level)
<project>/.workbuddy/mcp.json (project-level)

Keep the key out of shared projects

Project-level config is shared with anyone who opens the project. Put the key in user-level config, or use the Settings dialog instead.

Verify and use

After saving, open the MCP panel and check that imagifly is connected and exposes six tools. Then ask in a task:

为这份产品周报生成一张 16:9 的封面图：清晨的工厂与橙色天光，简洁高级。

WorkBuddy calls generate_image, polls the task and inserts the resulting image URL into the document.
